As a highly sensitive POGM, immigrant, neurodivergent, or LGBTQIA+ person - or some combination of all of the above - you've had to develop some serious coping skills just to survive. Meet Iris

As a queer, non-binary, Chinese-Costa Rican immigrant and social justice-oriented therapist, I understand the impacts of systemic oppression, generational trauma, and how survival responses get pathologized. My approaches humanize what gets labeled as disordered.

Through lived experience and extensive training in psychodynamics, somatics, IFS (Internal Family Systems), and existential modalities, I can skillfully guide you towards a sense of wholeness. My role is to shine a light on your inner wisdom and brilliant coping skills as you reclaim your sovereignty.

I aim to create a cultural celebration where you can feel safe exploring all intersections of your identity. Together we'll decolonize the internal narratives and external systems that diminish your vibrant, multi-faceted truth.
